National Research Policy

  • Priority Directions in Science 2018 - 2021 - nine priorities set for Latvia in fundamental and applied research for the period 2018–2021.
  • Smart Specialisation Strategy - the smart specialization strategy (RIS3) was developed in order to focus public R&D investment in programs that create future domestic capability and interregional comparative advantage. This strategy provides a balanced support tool kit to strengthen innovation capacity of the Latvian economy.
