Two PhD students are sought to work in composite materials processing, characterization and modelling at "Ecole de technologie superieure" in Montreal, Canada. With more 11,000 undergraduate and graduate engineering students, ETS is the second largest engineering faculty in Canada.
One PhD student will work on the characterization and modelling of the consolidation of thermoplastic composites during rapid processes such as welding.
The second PhD student will work on the recycling of composite materials.
What is funded
A PhD scholarship is available for a duration of three years.
Candidates must have Undergraduate and Master degrees in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. with an experience in materials processing and modelling and a strong interest for composite materials. Candidates must be proficient in English. French speaking is an asset.
